Looking east over the Spencer Gulf towards the lower Flinders Ranges and Mt Remarkable. The dawn is just breaking casting a glow across the gentle sea to the waves sweeping ankle deep across my feet.

A moment of calm, full of promise and the hope of rain; before the tragic algae bloom spread to this breading ground of the giant cuttlefish and nursery of whiting and blue swimmer crabs.
